Flyer Printing Costs: How to Compare Quotations
A useful flyer quotation tells you exactly what is included. The lowest headline price is difficult to compare if one quote uses a different stock, covers only one printed side or leaves artwork and delivery outside the total.
Send one consistent brief
Give each printer the same finished dimensions, printed sides, quantity, artwork status and required in-hand date. If you are unsure about paper, describe how the flyer will be used and ask the printer to identify the proposed stock in writing.
- Size and format
- Specify the finished dimensions and whether the job is flat or folded.
- Paper and finish
- Ask for the stock name or description, weight and any coating or lamination included.
- Printed sides
- Confirm whether colour printing is included on one face or both.
- Quantity and versions
- State how many copies of each design are required, not only the combined total.
- Artwork and proof
- Ask whether layout, file corrections and proof revisions are included or quoted separately.
- Delivery and tax
- Compare the final payable amount and confirm the delivery or collection arrangement.

Separate unit cost from useful quantity
A larger run may reduce the quoted cost per copy, but unused or outdated flyers still cost money. Estimate what you can realistically distribute before the offer, contact details or event date changes. If different branches or services need separate versions, ask for the price of those versions explicitly.
Example only: if a final quotation were AED 240 for 1,000 flyers, the arithmetic would be AED 0.24 per flyer. This is an illustration of the calculation, not a Laserco price. Divide the final payable total by the supplied quantity, and compare quotations on the same basis.
Make timing specific
Give the date you need the finished order in hand. Ask when artwork must be approved, when production would finish and whether delivery is included in that schedule. A production estimate and a delivery estimate are different things. Do not assume an urgent order is accepted until the team confirms it.
Use a short quotation checklist
- Are the size, stock, printed sides and quantity written down?
- Does the price cover every artwork version?
- Are design changes, finishing, tax and delivery clearly included or excluded?
- Is the final approval deadline clear?
- Has the required in-hand date been confirmed?
Use the Laserco flyer quotation brief to send these details. For repeat campaigns, flyer printing services can be a starting point: include the previous job reference, but confirm the current price and specification.
Plan your next step
Explore the flyer planning guide or request a flyer quotation. Send your preferred size, printed sides, quantity, artwork and required date. Laserco will confirm the paper, final price and production and delivery timing for your order.
